| 2013 | I am writing to raise a complaint regarding an incorrect bill for my IGL connection. Business Partner No.: 7000266255 Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad I submitted a connection-transfer request in July 2025. I received my first bill in September 2025 and cleared all outstanding dues. However, my most recent bill includes an additional backlog amount of approximately ₹14,000, which appears to be incorrect. I contacted customer care but did not receive a satisfactory explanation or resolution. Since the connection was transferred and all dues were cleared at that time, please clarify why this amount has now been added. I am also concerned that bills are being generated with a zero reading each month, even though meter readings are being taken regularly. No one informed us of any pending amount or billing discrepancy earlier. Please investigate this issue urgently and provide: A detailed breakdown of the ₹14,429 backlog amount Meter-reading and billing details from the date of transfer Confirmation of why the previous bills were generated with zero readings A corrected bill after removing any invalid charges Customers rely on the billing information provided by IGL to make timely payments. It is unfair to charge a large amount later because of an internal billing error or incorrect previous bills.
